You may have noticed the rather large case of Porseleinberg wines at the back of our shop recently.. Featuring every single vintage Porseleinberg have produced since 2010, this 12-bottle case is incredibly rare and VERY special.
Worth over £950+ (arguably more considering it includes their 2011 vintage, which was produced in such small volumes that it never got released), it's not surprising that nobody has picked it up just yet…
With this in mind, we've decided that instead of 'selling' the case, we're going to host a Spring raffle, so that all of our customers can buy in for a chance to win the box for themselves... For just £10 a ticket, it's an absolute no brainer if you're somebody who shares our love for special wines.

About the prize
This 12-bottle case includes a vertical of every vintage of Porseleinberg ever produced, from 2010 to 2021, including their 2011 vintage (which was produced in such small volumes that they decided not to release it until September 2023!).
It offers a fascinating view of one of South Africa’s most iconic wines, fine Syrah from the special schist soils atop the Porseleinberg mountain in the Swartland, crafted by winemaker Callie Louw..
The evolution of the wine is extraordinary, with a significant shift from the 2018 vintage when Louw started using the submerged cap technique for fermentation, inspired by a visit to Domaine Jamet, producing a more aromatic and approachable style versus the more austere and brooding earlier vintages. Terms & Conditions*
1. Eligibility: Participants must be UK based & 18 years of age or older to enter.
2. Entry Requirements: To enter the raffle, participants must purchase a raffle ticket at the specified price.
3. Ticket Price: The cost of each raffle ticket is £10. Participants may purchase multiple tickets.
4. Duration: The raffle will commence on 1st March and conclude when we exceed 100 entries.
5. Prize Description: The prize consists of a 12-bottle case of vintage wines produced by Porseleinberg between 2010 and 2021.
6. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected through a random draw, which will take place once the number of entries has exceeded 100.
7. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via email within 2 days of the draw. The winner has 21 days to claim their prize, which much be collected from Bedford Street Wines (33 Bedford Street, 33 Bedford Street, Covent Garden, WC2E 9ED)
8. Alternative Prize: No alternative prize or cash equivalent is available.
9. Terms Changes: Bedford Street Wines reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The date of the last update is 29/02/24.
